Description
Music amplified by concrete. With advanced sound engineering and innovative production processes we created a sensual yet functional music sculpture with extraordinary sound attributes. First concrete analogue smartphone amplifier – biggest non-electric smartphone amplifier – produced by the market-leading concrete powder bed 3D printing process by Progress Group, 35 pc. per print – Voronoi effect to display the best concrete 3D printing quality available – base material: recycled glass.
Statement of the jury
The sound amplifiers for smartphones are produced in a sustainable concrete powder bed 3D printing process and work without electricity and electronics. This not only holds out the promise of a good sound, but also has a visual presence in the room akin to a sculptural work of art. A fascinating object that needs space, but can then bring its full aesthetic effect to the fore and become an eye-catcher.
